Bio

Fory was born in Guadalajara Jalisco, the state responsible for a big part of the traditional and indigenous  cultural heritage of Mexico. Starting from a young age, Fory created drawings which were quite dark and psychedelic  and often scared his mother with the results.

Years later,  in 2009, Fory was living in Cancun without a job as a result from the Mexican flu. With nothing to do , he started to paint ceramic objects. That is when he discovered his joy to paint with bright colors, creating art with traditional Mexican elements.

  Now living in the Netherlands, Fory paints as a form to express his state of mind.
His colorful paintings combine various elements of  the traditional Mexican culture with a variety of contemporary icons that reflect his current emotions and memories from his  live in Mexico. 
"My art is a joyful invitation to stimulate the senses, to remind us about the life we live." 

In 2019 Fory decided that he wanted to turn his passion into profession and exhibited his work in small galleries and published his work on Social Media.  That is when appreciation for his work started to grow around the world.
